Favorite childhood memory: Christmas morning in mother &
father's bed
Prized possession: Although not a possession, I am most grateful
for my family: Buff, Mike, Julie, Katie and Christie. I am reminded
of their enthusiasm for life and love of others by George, our dog!
I'd give anything to meet: Jesus
I knew I was grown up when: I left home for boarding school
at 7 ½
The best time of my life: Being at the birth of our first
child - Michael in Johannesburg, South Africa
No one would believe that I: Coached Women's field-hockey
at Duke University while attending UNC as an undergraduate
Accomplishment of which I am most proud: Saving the lives
of my wife and I after nearly killing us both in a sailboat on the
Chesapeake Bay on our honeymoon - We got the sails down in a squall
Three words that best describe me: Caring, Innovative, Active
Worst job I've ever had: Counting foreign notes at Barclays
International Bank in Sevenoaks, Kent, England in 1978. It was however,
a great start
Favorite food: Scallops wrapped in crispy bacon
Favorite music: Almost all of Jimmy Buffet particularly Changes
in Latitutes

If money were no concern, what would you do?: Create a device
for senior citizens and their families to record their history,
faith and wisdom in pictures and words directly to the Internet
for future generations to share
What else would you like us to know?: I stand for reducing
suffering in the world and I seek to be "otherish" - the
opposite of selfish without being selfless. Through God, I believe
that all things are possible - faith, hope and love. I respect all
beliefs and try not to confuse true, truth and faith!
